Youth Activism Center, respectively Vice Director of the center, Mr. Mejdi Sadiku is staying in Vrnjaçka Banja in Serbia to meet with leaders of some European organizations for cooperation.
The visit is part of the project “Explore your potential” in wich will participate leaders of youth organizations from 9 European countries, respectively Albania, Estonia, Germany, Kosovo, Letonia, Macedonia, Poland, Serbia and Turkey.
During the visit, leaders are preparing the training course which will be held on 22-30 July 2015, where 47 young people will participate, while 5 youth will participate from Kosovo. They are also discussing and making the strategy for long term partnership between partners.
Mejdi Sadiku, Vice Director of YAC stated that the project aims that young unemployed people who are still deciding about their goals, still exploring their carrier opportunities to become more self-aware and gain skills and knowledge that can be easily transferred to other educational and working contexts.
“Our aim is young people to explore their learning styles, their strengths, talents and their potential, raise their awareness of who they are and what they are capable of, to contribute to young people’s personal development and expand their professional opportunities, to help them to set up learning and career goals by creating a safe atmosphere for non-formal learning, to develop participants’ life-long learning competencies, self-awareness and promote active and creative participation of young people in processes and events around them”, finished Sadiku.
